The 2026 Annual Map Change went live on 28 September (server time), arriving as part of Patch 2.2.16. Four headline changes reshape how teams fight for vision, objectives and gold.

Revealing Wisps

Vision wisps now appear around the map and can be picked up. Once collected, a wisp circles your hero for a few seconds. If a hidden enemy is within a large radius, it flies to them and reveals them briefly.

How to use it: grab wisps before contesting the Turtle or Lord. They're an answer to bush ambushes and invisible assassins.

Healing Turtle

The Turtle no longer grants a shield. Instead, defeating it spawns an allied Turtle on the enemy's strongest lane that pushes for you. Allies near it regenerate HP rapidly and gain Turtle companions that help push turrets.

How to use it: treat the Turtle as a siege tool rather than a team-fight buff. Group behind it to take a turret.

Golden Turret

Destroying any turret now shares much more gold with the whole team, while Inner and Base Turrets get more HP.

First turret matters more than ever. Teams that trade objectives cleanly will snowball team-wide gold, not just their carry's.

Enhanced basic attacks vs turrets

Enhanced basic attacks that heroes trigger with their own skills can now hit turrets and apply their HP Regen effects. Sun, Argus, Gusion, Thamuz, Dyrroth and Masha are specifically called out. Enhanced basic attacks from emblems, battle spells and equipment don't trigger on turrets, and neither does Quantum Charge.

Flying Cloud

Flying Cloud returns with upgraded visual effects. Check the in-game Battlefield Overview tab for full details.
