Patch 2.2.16 revamped two veterans as part of MLBB's 10th-anniversary celebrations. Here's what's new, in plain language.

Masha — Wild-oats Fist

Moonton's stated goal is to turn Masha into a high-skill-ceiling Berserker who thrives in sustained combat, instead of an assassin limited to split-pushing and burst.

The new loop

  • Three HP bars. Masha still has three lives and only dies when the last bar is gone.
  • Feral. Damaging heroes or creeps builds Feral, which converts into HP when she leaves combat.
  • Wounds. Her skill damage leaves a Wound on enemies. Hit the Wound with a basic attack from the right direction and she breaks it, entering the Feral state: her next three basic attacks become wide claw strikes, and she gains big Resilience, Attack Speed and Movement Speed.

Skills

  1. Feral Swipe — a forward energy wave that damages and slows heroes.
  2. Claw Strike — a dash ending in a wide claw strike. Its cooldown resets each time she loses a life.
  3. Savage Maul (Ultimate) — charges a target hero, stunning them and knocking nearby enemies back.

Positioning is the skill: Masha rewards players who can circle a target to break Wounds from the right side.

Bruno — The Protector

Bruno keeps his powerball identity, but almost every interaction is smoother.

Volley Shot (Skill 1)

  • Powerball distance now scales with his Movement Speed.
  • The speed boost triggers on the kick and decays over time.
  • Balls no longer land on the far side of walls, can be kicked while under most crowd control (not Silence), stay on the ground for 3s (up from 2s), and multiple balls can be picked up separately.
  • Base damage drops from 100–225 to 75–150, but mana cost falls too.

Slide (Skill 2)

The slide now dashes in the joystick direction, loses its damage, and its stun shrinks to 0.1s. Bruno now gains a Powerball when the slide ends. Cooldown is 9–7s and mana cost rises to 90.

Worldie (Ultimate)

The Ultimate applies a brief stun and a heavy decaying slow to the first target, no longer shreds Physical Defence, knocks the target to Bruno's max range, and bounces prefer enemy heroes. Cast range rises from 5.6 to 6, while damage is trimmed.

The anniversary art overhaul

Alongside the revamps, Paquito, Kadita, Clint, Luo Yi, Brody and Badang also received refreshed art.
