Storylines
The race for first opens on Thursday
Liquid ID lost to Dewa United on 2 October, then swept Alter Ego to stay on top at 10–3. NAVI are one win behind with a match in hand, and the two meet on Thursday night. Liquid still have RRQ on Friday and ONIC on the final day. NAVI have four left, including Bigetron on the last day.
Alter Ego's slide
Alter Ego went from second to third after losing to NAVI and Liquid ID in the same week. They now face Bigetron on Thursday, who trail them by one win. Lose again and they will have dropped three in a row.
Three teams, two spots
ONIC, EVOS and Dewa United all sit on five wins, with EVOS holding one fewer loss than ONIC and Dewa United. EVOS have the heaviest calendar: Dewa United, ONIC and Geek Fam in four days, then two more in the last week. ONIC beat NAVI on Sunday with Killuaa standing in for S A N Z. Stand-ins also featured for RRQ and EVOS, so line-ups are worth watching.
