You can play MLBB on PC, but not through a Windows version of the game. Mobile Legends is a phone game, and as of October 2026 we could not find a native PC client from Moonton. The usual way to play MLBB on PC is an Android emulator: a program that runs the Android app on Windows.
Ways to play MLBB on PC
| Option | What it is | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| BlueStacks 5 | The most widely used Android emulator; lists MLBB as a supported game | Most players |
| LDPlayer 9 | A lighter emulator aimed at games | Older or lower-spec PCs |
| MSI App Player | An emulator built on the BlueStacks engine | MSI hardware owners |
| Google Play Games on PC | Google's own Windows app for Android games | Worth checking, but we could not confirm MLBB is in its catalogue |
Download emulators only from their official websites. Search results for "Mobile Legends PC download" include plenty of repackaged installers that bundle unwanted software.
What your PC needs
These are the figures published in emulator setup guides, not official Moonton requirements.
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 | Windows 10 or 11 |
| Processor | Multi-core Intel or AMD with virtualization enabled | Same, more cores |
| Memory | 4 GB | 8 GB |
| Storage | 5 GB free for the emulator, plus the game | SSD |
| Graphics | Any GPU with current drivers | Dedicated GPU |
Virtualization is the setting that catches most people out. It is switched on in your PC's BIOS or UEFI settings, and emulators run badly or not at all without it.
How to set it up
- Install the emulator from its official site and open it.
- Sign in to Google Play inside the emulator.
- Install Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from the Play Store, exactly as you would on a phone.
- Log in with your linked account (Moonton account, Google, Facebook or TikTok) so your heroes and rank carry over. Link your account on your phone first if you have been playing as a guest.
- Check the key mapping. Emulators ship with a keyboard-and-mouse layout for MLBB; adjust it before your first ranked match.
Play a Classic match or two before you queue for Ranked. Movement with keys feels different from a touch joystick, and skill aiming with a mouse takes some adjustment.
Is playing on an emulator allowed?
We could not find a published Moonton policy that bans emulators, and emulator players are common. The guides we checked agree on three points:
- Same servers. Emulator players use the same servers and the same ranked ladder as phone players.
- Macros are the risk. Players have reported bans where emulator activity was flagged as scripting, mostly when macros were automating actions. Some were reversed on appeal.
- Play manually. Using a keyboard and mouse in place of touch is normal. Automating gameplay is not.
Treat this as reported practice, not a guarantee. If your account matters to you, don't run macros and don't use modified game clients.
An emulator changes your controls, not your matchmaking. You still meet the same players on the same ladder.
Phone or PC: which is better?
| Phone | PC emulator | |
|---|---|---|
| Controls | Touch, designed for the game | Keyboard and mouse, mapped |
| Screen | Small | Large, easier to read the map |
| Performance | Depends on the phone | Usually steadier on a decent PC |
| Tournaments | Standard | Official competitions are played on phones |
If you want to compete, practise on a phone. Every MPL match is played on mobile devices, and most community tournaments require them too.
Common problems
- Emulator won't start or is very slow: turn on virtualization and update your graphics drivers.
- Game stutters: give the emulator more CPU cores and memory in its settings, and close other programs.
- Account didn't carry over: you logged in with a different method from the one linked on your phone.
Once you are set up, our roles and lanes guide and the build planner are good next stops. New to the game entirely? Read what MLBB is first.
